For us, Chinese books means books created in Chinese, anywhere in the world.

There’s a lot of information available about Chinese books for children, in various places and in various languages. Our aim is to try to bring that information together, to make it easier to find what you’re looking for … and to find things you weren’t looking for!

We’re an international group of three, who read Chinese books for young people, in Chinese and English. We met for the first time at the Children’s Literature Day, organised by the Writing Chinese Project, University of Leeds, UK, on 2 July 2016. It was such a wonderful day that we decided to create this blog – thank you to Frances Weightman and Sarah Dodd and their team at Leeds for bringing us together!
